Humidor on Austin opened in the summer of 2024 at 804 Austin Avenue in downtown Waco, Texas — a concept under Founding Table Hospitality, the multi-brand portfolio founded by Andrew Steakley. The lounge occupies a historic storefront on one of Waco's most storied corridors, steps from the Brazos River and the city's growing arts and dining district.

The vision was simple: Waco deserved a proper cigar lounge. Not a smoke shop with a few chairs. A destination — a place where the ritual of a well-chosen cigar could unfold at its own pace, with curated spirits, thoughtful design, and a room worth returning to.

The walk-in humidor holds over 1,000 premium cigars from 79+ brands — Padrón, Arturo Fuente, Davidoff, Oliva, Liga Privada, My Father, Rocky Patel, Perdomo, and dozens more — maintained at a precise 70 degrees and 70% humidity. Every stick is selected by hand. Nothing generic makes it to the shelf.

Humidor on Austin is open to the public seven days a week. No membership is required to walk in, browse the humidor, and find a seat. For guests who want more — a private locker, member pricing, and priority access — the Locker Program offers three tiers starting at $35 per month.

The large-scale painting that anchors the lounge was created by Waco-based artist Cade Kegerreis. Cade's work is known for its bold, expressive brushwork and its deep roots in Texas culture and landscape. The piece was commissioned specifically for Humidor on Austin and has become one of the most talked-about elements of the space.
